TITAN −20°C/SBS SERIES
These are SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) modified elastomeric bitumen membranes developed for harsh climate conditions and projects requiring high flexibility. The elastomeric structure, which maintains its flexibility down to −20°C, prevents micro-cracks from reflecting onto the waterproofing layer in applications with high structural movement and thermal stress. Within the series, polyester felt-reinforced standard and thick models (P-3020, P-4020) are used for foundations, shear walls, and double-layer top membrane applications; while the mineral-coated topcoat model (M-3020) is used exposed on cold-climate roofs. It is highly preferred in Eastern Anatolia, earthquake zones, and projects with high structural movement loads.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION • Building foundations in cold climate zones, • Shear and retaining walls, • Lightweight metal and precast roofs (where SBS flexibility is mandatory), • Sloped and flat concrete roofs (M-3020 — mineral-coated topcoat), • Pressurized groundwater waterproofing, • Double-layer waterproofing/membrane systems.
